🚀 Your First Warbird Mission: Fly the Legend T-28 Trojan Without the Crash Anxiety

Master the skies with **a trustable flight control assistant**. The VOLANTEXRC T-28 Trojan (Series 400) is a 4-channel scale warbird that brings the thrill of WWII aviation to your local park. Engineered with professional-grade stabilization and a high-torque power system, this RTF airplane ensures a smooth, "rock-solid" experience from the very first takeoff.

🎮 Xpilot: Your Personal Flight Assistant

The integrated Xpilot Gyro System is more than just a stabilizer; it's a confidence builder. It automatically corrects orientation, making the T-28 Trojan incredibly easy to handle and allowing for stable flights even on windy days.

  • 3-Level Assist & Wind Resistance: Seamlessly transition from Beginner to Expert. The gyro fights the wind so you don't have to.
  • 🔄 One-Key U-Turn: Never lose your plane. With one press, the glider returns in the opposite direction from which it was set up.

⚙️ High-Torque Gear Box & 2.4GHz Control

Unlike standard direct-drive motors, the T-28 Trojan features a dedicated **Gear Box Power System**. This delivers massive thrust for aerobatics and better energy efficiency. Paired with a 2.4GHz radio, it's perfect for outdoor adventures.

  • Optimized Efficiency: Fly up to 20 minutes per battery. Perform one-key professional loops and rolls automatically.
  • 📡 656ft Range & Multiplayer: Strong anti-interference technology means you can host a flight club party with friends without signal cross-talk.

🛡️ Engineered for "The Rough Flights"

Built with high-density, flexible EPP foam, the T-28 is designed to survive crashes. The fully assembled, portable package makes it easy to bring along for picnics, hiking, and weekend trips.

  • 💎 Propeller Saver (Over-Current Protection): The prop automatically pops off during impact. This brilliant design not only saves the blade but prevents the electronic components (ESC) from burning out due to over-current.
  • 💪 EPP Durable Material: Lightweight yet resilient, providing peace of mind for every beginner pilot.

Simply The Best!

"I've had 7 of these and I'll always have at least one on hand as long as I'm flying, no matter what else I have in the hangar. Every one flies the same right out of the box, and they relieve stress better than anything I've flown. They do what you tell them to do with the transmitter (I use a RadioMaster Boxer 4-in-1). Use the ugly landing gear—it'll save a lot of wear and tear on your nose cowl. Buy a $10 voltage checker and fly your packs down to 3. 8v for storage charge and they'll last forever. Don't leave a full charge on them for much more than 24 hours. I even have a couple of FrankenTrojans that I've pieced together (I'm hard on them—really hard). PLEASE, PLEASE, Volantex, make a 500mm brushless Trojan!!!"

Navy flier

"These are great flying planes. Generally pretty tough and can withstand crashes. Some models can be repaired easier than others. This one I needed to replace the motor after many crashes, but no easy way to do it. Needed to cut fuselage and glue motor in after soldering wires. Other models have access panels and screws with plug in units. I like this model as white makes it easier to see when flying"

Awesome places

"It is working awesome. I am always flying it with my other planes. Like my spitfire"

Paint fades easily

"I was thrilled that I was able to get this plane within 1 day and it was ready to fly out of the box (after a quick charge)! However after having flown it for 2 days, I’ve learned a few things! It is super easy and fun to fly, great for beginners, however, the prop falls off very easily and is difficult to find. The front wheel was not very durable and actually fell off during flight never to be seen again! Another huge complaint is that after only handling it for 2 days the paint is completely flaking off and you’d think that I’ve had this thing for 10yrs not 2 days."

Just know it arrived quickly works awesome and I'm 100% happy

"It's a awesome product and I highly recommend to get this plane and by using Amazon I got it quickly and undamaged."

difficult control😢

"The airplane is made of foam material, which is very light, looks very fragile, and is difficult to control. I think it will take a long time to contact"

Will shop with you again!

"Great experience. I’ve bought a few planes through you and got exactly what I ordered and happily didn’t have to pay brokerage or duty fees since I’m in Canada"

Christopher C. (5/5)

Great little airplane!

"Excellent little trainer, 2nd one I’ve had. 1st was rugged, abused, glued, crashed, yanked out of 3 trees, and it still flew pretty well. 2nd T-28 flew ok, but when diving it developed a flutter. But on next flight it went through the sun and I never saw it again. EXHOBBY delivered as promised and the airplane priced with a new customer was a great bargain. I’m still a novice r/c pilot but am moving quickly beyond the Volantex- level planes. What have you got in the thousand mm size ?"

Locke P. (4/5)

Beginner pilot

"I just got the T 28 & I really like it. Fun to fly, Seems like my favorite so far. I also have a Cessna & F40. I am having fun with all of them. I feel like I get really good flight time per battery, by flying for about 5-8 minutes then change out plane or battery & fly for another 5-7 minutes. Giving battery's time to cool between flights."

Q&A

How many batteries does it have? 1 or 2 of 400?
Unit came with 2 batteries
What is the replacement motor? I need three new motors for T-28, Corsair and P-51 Mustang?
i believe it is the same for all of the planes in this group - the 10mm coreless.
